As the parent of a Bubbles Academy alum, Miriam has seen first-hand the value that the school brings to their attendees as a result of their dedicated and caring employees. Originally from the St. Louis area, Miriam ventured out to Southern California to obtain her degree in English with a concentration in Art History from University of Redlands. After working in the Bay Area and Orange County, California, Miriam returned to her roots in the Midwest, ultimately raising a family in nearby Bucktown. Having mothered two children just 13-months apart, Miriam understands how important the education and social interaction provided in the early stages of development is key to providing the basis for emotional and academic success. When the opportunity arose to give back to the Bubbles community, Miriam jumped at the chance to provide the same values and structure that the school offered her own children. In her spare time, Miriam enjoys exploring Chicago’s amazing food scene, staying active and actively participating in her children’s school activities.
