Mel discovered her love of music through afternoons spent with her musician grandparents, and quickly made the leap to theatre and the visual arts. She first began working as a teaching artist when she led creative drama classes as a Northwestern student, and she never stopped! Melanie graduated from the Northwestern University School of Communications with coursework in Theatre
