Emily is originally from Detroit, Michigan and moved to Chicago to attend DePaul University. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and a double minor in Art and Early Childhood Education. With three years of experience as an art teacher, she is dedicated to fostering creativity and imagination in young learners. Emily believes that integrating the arts into early childhood education not only enhances cognitive and emotional development but also instills a lifelong love for learning. She finds joy in watching her students explore and express their creativity! Her favorite children’s books are Have You Filled a Bucket Today? and Mayhem Masterpiece, a book written and illustrated by Ms. Emily and is self-published!
