Teacher Chel is excited to continue their teaching career at Bubbles Academy. They have a B.A. in Theatre from North Central College and after teaching an online theatre course to children ages 6-17 they discovered a passion for teaching. Soon after they got into the early childcare field and haven’t looked back since.They have been an ECE teacher for 2.5 years having experience with children between the ages of 3 months to 24 months old. Chel’s teaching philosophy is one of valuing, empowering, and guiding children through play and connection. They are always ready to play and get silly or dirty in the name of fun. They believe matching a child’s enthusiasm and curiosity helps build a foundation of trust. Which in turn allows them to feel comfortable and safe engaging in risky play. They believe in helping guide children by giving them the tools to learn how to be independent and providing a safe, physical and emotional, space for them to feel empowered to succeed or fail and try again.
