This program is for children who are 4 – 5 years old and will be entering a kindergarten program the following academic year. Half day AM, lunch buddies, and full day options available.

Using an arts-integrated approach, the children work towards mastering emotional and social development, physical skills such as fine, gross and sensorimotor as well as the ability to self-regulate. Other targeted skills include adaptive social behavior such as appreciating diversity, mastering self-efficacy, self-control and emotional expression.

Role
The teacher’s role in the classroom is that of facilitator and co-explorer; offering open-ended questions, positive discipline, reflection, child-centred activities and early learning to provide solid preparation for life-long love of learning. Bubbles Academy’s team has a rich background in the fine arts and early childhood education training. Our teachers are truly attuned to each child’s individual needs and developmental abilities.

Nature Playground
Using an arts-integrated approach, the children work towards mastering emotional and social development, physical skills such as fine, gross and sensorimotor as well as the ability to self-regulate. Why A Nature Playground?
A nature playground is different from a traditional playground in that it uses natural and open ended materials to facilitate and inspire play.
- Natural play helps children connect to and engage with the natural world
- Naturalized learning and play environments help children develop intellectual, emotional, social and cognitive skills (a playground for Whole Child Development)
- Opportunities for immersive natural play are shown to increase creativity, problem solving, and reduce stress.
- This playground will also facilitate social interaction and problem solving in that it will provide not just a structure for students to play on, but many open-ended, natural materials for students to play with, reshaping and recreating the playground as they interact with it.
