Bubbles Academy Is Hiring!

 

      After 7 years of operation Bubbles Academy has quickly established itself as a leader in early enrichment programming in the city of Chicago for children between the age of 0 and 5.

      The Bubbles Academy Mission is to inspire children with positive learning experiences that will help build their self-esteem, develop an appreciation for different cultures and nurture respect for the environment. It is staffed with the most creative teachers in Chicago that have a unique combination of artistic and educational backgrounds, not to mention very high SQ (Silly Quotients)!

 

Positions Open:

ASSISTANT TEACHERS, CHILD CARE SPECIALISTS, EVENT ASSISTANTS AND OFFICE STAFF

Looking for two to three candidates to assist at Bubbles Academy in multiple areas. All candidates must be have flexibility, a college degree, an extremely friendly demeanor, the ability to multitask, and must have experience working with children. Positions are part-time and may include weekend hours.

 

MUSIC PERFORMERS AND TEACHERS

Looking for high-energy, expressive educators to teach early childhood mom and tot music classes. Must have experience performing in front of large groups of people, ability to sing and play guitar, experience with children under five years old, and possess extreme creativity. Very PT.

 

PRESCHOOL PROGRAM DEPARTMENT COORDINATOR

Looking for a part-time preschool teacher to coordinate and lead our preschool preparatory programs. Roughly 10 hours a week.

Must have:

* An upbeat and flexible personality.

* Experience working in a preschool classroom.

* A Master's in education.

* The inspiration to create innovative lesson plans for children 1-5 years of age.

Public Relations and Social Media

Seeking an undergraduate-level, or first year graduate student, intern for the Fall 2010 semester to work with our PR and Communications Managers. Candidate should be passionate about social media, equally enthusiastic about public relations within small businesses and enjoy being around children. We are looking for self-motivated individuals that know their way around the social media world, have excellent  PR writing skills and are organized while being able to work on a deadline.

Requirements:

1) Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop

2) Prior Press Kit/PR Writing and Editing Experience

3) Access to personal laptop

4) Must be able to receive university credit

The intern will be required to work 10-15 hours/week during the semester, or quarter. Mondays and Tuesday preferred. Must be able to receive school credit.
